2026 Annual General Meeting: Building for our Region, Building for Canada

The Belledune Port Authority (BPA) held its 2026 Annual General Meeting on June 23, 2026, under the central theme “Building for our Region, Building for Canada.” Alongside the meeting, the BPA officially released its 2025 Annual Report, showcasing steady operational resilience, deep community integration, and the solidification of key commercial and environmental partnerships.
The First Ship of 2026 Lays Anchor at the Port of Belledune

The Belledune Port Authority (BPA) welcomed Captain Glen Burton, Master of the Western Tugger/ Arctic Lift 1, and its 7-person crew as the First Ship of 2026. The Western Tugger / Arctic Lift 1 loaded aggregate delivered from Roy’s Trucking to the Magdalen Islands in Quebec. Stevedoring services were provided by our longtime partner Quebec Stevedoring Limited (QSL).

Ports of Belledune and Antwerp-Bruges sign agreement to accelerate green energy trade

The Belledune Port Authority (BPA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) today with the Port of Antwerp-Bruges to work together to set up a supply chain for clean fuels and green manufacturing goods, with the priority focused on hydrogen and its derivates.
