Built in 1991 to serve the NB Power 467 megawatt generating station, which is situated adjacent to the port, Terminal II is capable of handling Capesize vessels up to a 100,000 DWT maximum. Its automated coal continuous ship unloader (CSU) has the rated capacity of moving 1,750 metric tonnes per hour into its enclosed conveyor system.
