The First Ship of 2026 Lays Anchor at the Port of Belledune
The Belledune Port Authority (BPA) welcomed Captain Glen Burton, Master of the Western Tugger/ Arctic Lift 1, and its 7-person crew as the First Ship of 2026. The Western Tugger / Arctic Lift 1 loaded aggregate delivered from Roy’s Trucking to the Magdalen Islands in Quebec. Stevedoring services were provided by our longtime partner Quebec Stevedoring Limited (QSL).

Greenergy and the Belledune Port Authority sign long-term lease agreement
Today, Greenergy and the Belledune Port Authority announce that they have entered into a long-term lease of a tank facility in the deep-water import terminal in northern New Brunswick, Canada. This marks a strategic investment in the port and a new addition to Greenergy’s existing fuel terminal network.

Ports of Belledune and Antwerp-Bruges sign agreement to accelerate green energy trade
The Belledune Port Authority (BPA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) today with the Port of Antwerp-Bruges to work together to set up a supply chain for clean fuels and green manufacturing goods, with the priority focused on hydrogen and its derivates.
